Scope of Work
Scope: Full Building Automation System (BAS) installation for a mixed-use, high-rise development including hotel, residential, retail, office, and parking structures.
Completion Time: Delivered ahead of schedule and in service since 2016
Challenges: Ground-up BAS design, multi-trade coordination, strict system specifications, and integration across diverse building types
Roth Southeast, a Thermal Concepts company, was contracted to design and implement a comprehensive Building Automation System (BAS) across the entire Brickell City Centre development. The project encompassed a wide range of building types and infrastructure elements, requiring seamless integration and strict compliance with design specifications.
Our Solution
- Installed a complete Building Automation System (BAS) including HVAC controls, lighting controls, power monitoring, utility monitoring, and integration with all retail tenants
- Installed a gas detection system in the parking garage to alert for chemical hazards
- Delivered the project ahead of schedule while meeting all design specifications
- Provided service and maintenance since the project’s opening in 2016
